Data Policies
what information we collect and how we use it
This statement outlines the types of data we collect when users interact with our website, cloud services, and software products. Our data collection practices vary based on the type of license a user holds. As outlined on our Main Policies Page, this may include a Consumer License or an Enterprise License.
1. Website and Account Management
When you visit our website or manage your account, we collect only standard analytics and account-related data. This is the same for both Consumer and Enterprise license holders.
Depending on how you interact with us, this log data may include your IP address, device information, browser type, and settings and information about your activity in the Services (such as the date/time stamps associated with your usage, pages and files viewed, searches, and other actions you take such as which features you use), device event information (such as system activity, error reports (sometimes called "crash dumps"), and hardware settings).
2. Cloud Services
Consumer Licenses
Users with Consumer licenses who use our cloud services agree to data collection and grant us the rights to use that data for any purpose outlined in our Terms of Service. This includes - but is not limited to - the right to use, reproduce, modify, prepare derivative works of, display, perform, sublicense, and distribute such data. This applies to all data collected during use of our cloud services, including:
- Job and task metadata
- Uploaded Assets (e.g. text prompts) and generated Assets (e.g. renderings) as defined in the Terms of Service
- Error logs and diagnostics
- Performance metrics
Enterprise Licenses
Enterprise license holders may be offered access to a "private" server infrastructure, which refers to a dedicated deployment of our cloud services, partially isolated from our general infrastructure and used exclusively by their organization.
When an Enterprise client manages this private server themselves, we do not collect, store, or access any data from it. If we provide setup or ongoing maintenance for this infrastructure on their behalf, we still do not retain internal job data. In such cases, data may pass through our systems only when necessary to route requests (e.g., for authentication or task delivery), and we collect only the minimal information required to complete those requests (such as routing metadata, timestamps, or user IDs).
The terms governing any setup or maintenance services we provide for private servers are defined in a separate service agreement. If such an agreement exists, it supersedes this general data collection policy.
We do not claim ownership of any data processed through private server infrastructure, whether managed by the Enterprise or by us. All rights to such data remain with the Enterprise license holder or the original data owner, as applicable.
3. Software Usage
Our software collects usage reports from all users. While the scope of the data transmitted may be the same, the scope of data retained depends on the type of license. Usage reports may be generated even when the software is used offline or without our cloud services. Please note that we do not collect the resulting images themselves, but we do collect information about the inputs used to generate them.
Usage reports may include the following:
- Software and plugin version information
- System environment details (e.g., operating system, hardware specs, runtime frameworks)
- Timestamped activity and usage logs, information regarding completed and failed tasks
- Processing metrics (e.g., duration, status messages, error logs)
- Information about each rendering task, including input metadata, text prompts, configuration settings, and generation parameters (such as seed values).
- Identifying information that allows us to associate usage reports with a registered user, such as license details and user identifiers.
Consumer Licenses
We collect detailed usage reports from users with Consumer licenses that include any and all the types of data described above. This data helps us improve the software, provide support, analyze product performance, and develop new features. In accordance with our Terms of Service, we may use this data for any legitimate business purpose. This data is collected by the plugin and transmitted to our servers when available. We retain and process it in accordance with our privacy practices and legal agreements.
Enterprise Licenses
We collect usage data on behalf of our Enterprise clients in accordance with the terms defined in a separate service agreement. This data may be made available to designated administrators within the client organization, who may be granted tools to manage, review, or delete it. The data we retain may be limited in scope compared to those collected from Consumer users and may omit certain types of content or metadata, depending on the configuration agreed upon. Ownership, access, and handling of this data are subject to the provisions outlined in the client's service agreement. If such an agreement exists, it supersedes this general data collection policy.
